What About Fried Chitterlings?
When most folks consider how chitterlings (often pronounced "chitlins") are prepared, boiling may be the first thing that comes to mind. Have you ever tried chitterlings that have been battered and fried (after they have been boiled)? If so, do you like them more or less than the boiled-only variety?

I can recall eating chitlins twice in my lifetime, and both times they were boiled. My father-in-law was the first person I recall talking about frying left-over chitlins that had been cooked the day before. He seems to like them, but I have not tried any. I generally don't like chitlins, but I am curious as to how they taste fried.
